Brand new Istory Linkshell looking for its Leaders
I will be creating a Guild in the form of a Link-shell soon on the server Istory. I am currently looking for maximum 20 others who wishes to create and manage such a Guild with me.
Brief selling points of the Link-shell I envisioned are; A huge Link-shell that is not waiting for the game to become interesting but will make the game interesting instead, Events running at all time-zones so many members could enjoy, A Link-shell that can rely on its own members for resources for all activities, A long-running Link-shell that will not die in till the official ending day of FFXIV, A Link-shell that believes in growth and knows how to have fun, etc...
There are four groups of Leaders I am specifically looking for (Keep in mind that you need to play during payment seasons
Moderator Leaders; Tasks includes watching over the Guild and all its resources are correct, and such.
Community Leaders; Tasks includes recruiting members, A team that talks to members personally and also able to talk about issues that the whole Guild needs to be aware of, and such.
Event Leaders; Tasks includes creating events while taking advantage of everything FFXIV has to offer, and such.
Raid Leaders; Tasks includes static activities and events regarding end-game content only

 | Sounds interesting. I've had nothing but bad luck with linkshells and I'd be very interested in a shell that is active with more than a handful of people at any given time. I'm super casual and not much of an end-gamer, hell I have yet to reach 50 (but I'm getting close), and I'm not much of a recruiter (I always sucked at it in the past). But I do enjoy the company of other like-minded individuals, and more importantly, fun. But how do you propose to maintain the peace in such a huge gathering? Personality clashes are inevitable, are they not? Tell me more. |

Regarding your question...I am not sure how long you have been playing for (I have seen your name before), but there was a really big social Link-shell is the past named "Spawns Again", I was managing that Link-shell as a Leader, so I have seen my share of conflicts that came once in a blue moon. I managed to sub-due conflicts by making people talk it over with one another, having people compensate (Like, be considerate and don't do this), or if problems shall arise again, one will be ousted, we gave people many chances in that Link-shell. |

| | @Blaise Lallise part.2 Regarding my Link-shell, I feel that I should and will be more strict about conflicts, I really want my Link-shell to work, so if the conflict cannot be solved, I will oust the person(s), even both parties if needed. I don't the whole Link-shell to be bothered because of a small portion. It will definitely be a strict system regarding conflicts. According to how you describe yourself, I think you would be suited for Moderating, if not and just want to be a member, I would appreciate it if you could till the Link-shell is ready to recruit =). |

| | Don't worry about being casual, I am a hard-core gamer but I am pretty casual myself in this game. If you take a look at my History, you will notice that I like to adventure and do things like gathering all the nodes, running past Level 80 monsters could prove quite the fun =). As long as you log in at least twice a week, it should be all good. Event Leaders are aimed to make casual activities that proved to be fun. You can ask Nan Lowell about things I do in the game ^^;;, she is super casual as well and I worked her up to 50 last week, even though she started a long time ago. I do tend to have hardcore sprees, there will be durations where I play really hardcore =P! |

| | I'm willing to give it a shot. I'd like to think I'm able to provide unbiased opinions, though I tend to be the "good cop" so to speak. I have played since release, but took a few short breaks earlier due to console kicks. But I've been really hitting it (relatively) hard as of late. I even ran out of guardian's favor. heh I try to be on a couple times per week, though that is more likely to be an average, as some weeks end up more while others end up less due to hectic life schedules. But I do intend on trying to do casual events whenever life (and a small child) will allow me to. If you catch me in game, we can talk more in detail there. |

 | I sensed my name was mentioned. >__> In all seriousness though I guess I can throw something in.. I've been playing over a year now and Azure has come to be one of my good friends. He did indeed help me hit 50 just recently. He knows how to have fun in a game a lot of people have given up on and he has far more patience for other players than I do, and I'm a fairly even tempered person. Where I might get to the point of anger and frustration he keeps his cool and talks things out, so no worries about how he's gonna manage a large group. ;P |
