The Fall of a Primal
Hard at work Seraphim has been of late. At its core, members have been crafting large quantities of gear for their finest warriors. It has been a collaborative effort of many Disciples of the Land, and Hand alike. From Wulfgar's endless supply of Cobalt, to the Avalon's consistent thread spinning, and even Resheph's stocked armoury, all of in the name of Seraphim. We certainly could not let their efforts go to waste.

As fast as they could make gear, Seraphim would meld it into Materia. This cycle continued as we practiced and prepared, all in an effort to best the mighty Primal, Ifrit. Well the day finally came, and Ifrit has fallen to Seraphim. We still have much work to do though, many of our adventurers have yet to see Ifrit fall. In time they will get their chance as well, as we work to improve our methods in order to allow more of Seraphim's adventurers a chance to tango with a Primal.

Back to today's topic of discussion though. The fall of Ifrit. Determined to do our part in preserving the life of Eorzea's adventurers, Seraphim's fiercest adventurers gathered.

Apricoth, the femme fatale Lancer
Vander, the noble Gladiator..
Lothori, the ... subligar of Conjury.
Veon, the Gladiator who cross-trained in Conjury.
Little Cat , the nimble Miqo'te Lancer.
Krausus, the leader of Team Hair, which is complimented by his Lance. (not the other way around)
Shaniston, the twisted popato loving Thaumaturge.
Holy, the Dragoon descendant and loyal Miqo'te Lancer.

The battle was not easy. It was reminiscent of my dreams of past.
Ifrit was everywhere, touching the battlefield with fire as he moved. While our mages positioned themselves strategically, we Lancers went to work, cutting away at Ifrit. When Hellfire came, we were ready with cross training as Gladiators, and we set ourselves strong as Sentinels. All of us held our own at this point. Dodging everything Ifrit threw at us was the key to victory. When two of us took a bad fall, we were worried that we would not have enough time before being removed due to the magical field. We slowly raised our downed members, which allowed us to bring forth our final charge. What seemed like a stalemate, suddenly tipped to our favour. Suddenly, 4 Lancers were using their masterful Doomspike, and Chaos Thrust at the same time. Just as quickly, the Primal fell, with Apricoth dealing the satisfying final blow.

The largest cheers I have ever heard escaped all of our lips. We were victorious, the Primal was no longer to be feared, for we had conquered. Though 8 adventurers were present for the kill, it was Seraphim that downed Ifrit. That can never be taken away from us.

Congratulations Seraphim

Eorzea will be safe for at least a little longer.
